Applied AI Instructor — Independent ContractorHybrid Intelligence Advisors is building a network of exceptional professionals to teach live Applied AI seminars and workshops for experienced professionals and organizations.We are looking for people who combine strong professional experience with substantial practical fluency in generative AI and the ability to explain complicated ideas clearly, naturally, and without unnecessary technical jargon.Most teaching will be live and virtual, with occasional opportunities for in-person instruction. Classes will be scheduled as demand requires.What you’ll doYou will teach HIA seminars and workshops using our established curriculum, instructor materials, exercises, and teaching approach.Your work may include:Delivering live AI seminars and workshops for professionals, managers, and organizational teamsPreparing for each session and becoming thoroughly familiar with the examples, exercises, and teaching pointsExplaining generative AI concepts in clear, professional languageDemonstrating practical uses of ChatGPT and other major generative AI platformsHelping learners understand where AI performs well, where it can fail, and where human judgment and review remain essentialGuiding exercises, discussion, and participant questions while keeping sessions focused and on scheduleRepresenting HIA professionally in virtual and occasional in-person engagementsWho we’re looking forThis role is for someone who already knows how professional work gets done.You should have:Substantial professional experience in business, government, nonprofit, professional services, education, or another established fieldPractical fluency with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, OR PerplexityExcellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skillsThe confidence to answer questions thoughtfully and the judgment to say when you do not know somethingComfort learning and teaching HIA’s curriculum closelySome evening and/or weekend availabilityPrior teaching, training, facilitation, or public-speaking experience is helpful, but it is not required. We care more about whether you can command a room, communicate clearly, and help sophisticated adults learn.What makes a strong HIA instructorYou understand that experienced professionals do not need to be dazzled by AI. They need to understand how to use it well.You can explain something complicated without making the learner feel unsophisticated. You know how to read a room, adjust an explanation, answer an unexpected question, and keep a discussion useful.You also understand the limits of your own expertise. You will not bluff when you do not know an answer, overstate what AI can do, or turn a class into a showcase for whatever tool happens to be fashionable that month.Most important, you respect the expertise learners already bring with them. HIA teaches people how to use AI more effectively in work they already understand.How we teachHIA’s seminars are practical and designed for experienced professionals.Our instructors teach from established HIA curriculum rather than substituting their own course or methodology. We provide the instructional framework, materials, exercises, and teaching points. Instructors bring the professional presence, judgment, examples, discussion, and human connection that make the material work in the room.About HIAHybrid Intelligence Advisors helps organizations use AI to improve work, decisions, and performance. Our work includes AI strategy and advisory, implementation, responsible AI and governance, organizational training, and the development of focused AI agents and tools.Hybrid Intelligence Academy is our education arm, providing live AI education and HIA-CAP certification for experienced professionals.Our teaching is built around a simple idea: AI can contribute substantial capability, while professionals remain responsible for framing the work, reviewing the output, applying judgment, and approving the result.Engagement: Independent contractorSchedule: Classes scheduled based on demandLocation: Primarily remote within the United States, with occasional in-person opportunitiesCompensation: $5 per class participant, subject to a minimum of $25 per class hour and a maximum of $200 per classIf you are an experienced professional, deeply comfortable with generative AI, and particularly good at helping other people understand complicated things, we would like to hear from you.
