Appointed Person for Lifting Operations

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi for an Appointed Person for Lifting Operations. The role involves planning and supervising lifting operations, preparing lifting plans, and ensuring all activities comply with relevant local and international standards and company procedures. The Appointed Person will assess lifting risks, select appropriate lifting equipment, coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site supervisors, and verify pre-use inspections and certifications. The role includes monitoring site conditions, communicating safe work instructions, resolving operational issues, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports for all lifting activities. The Appointed Person will also support incident prevention, participate in HSE meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement of lifting practices.QualificationsShould hold LEEA - APLO certificationADNOC approved is preferred.3 to 5 years of experience in lifting operations within construction, oil and gas, infrastructure, or manufacturing environments.Comprehensive knowledge of applicable lifting regulations, HSE standards, and safe systems of work.Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, lift plans, and equipment specifications.
