The program is delivered through a network of Centres across India, equipping young graduates with both technical skills and employment readiness to transition into quality IT careers.Position SummaryThe Aptitude Trainer will be a core member of the GROW Tech team, responsible for building the quantitative reasoning, logical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities of GROW Tech students. The primary objective of this role is to prepare students to confidently clear the aptitude assessments conducted by IT companies as part of their hiring processes. The trainer will deliver structured, high-energy sessions virtually via Zoom across all GROW Tech Centres, develop assessments, content, and closely coordinate with Area Heads to ensure seamless scheduling and student engagement.Key Responsibilities1. Instructional Delivery• Deliver live aptitude training sessions via Zoom to students across all GROW Tech Centres simultaneously or separately as required, covering quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and data interpretation.• Design and execute engaging, structured lesson plans aligned with the patterns used by leading IT companies in their hiring assessments.• Adapt teaching pace and style to a diverse student cohort, including those with limited prior exposure to aptitude-style testing.• Conduct mock tests, timed drills, and practice sessions that simulate actual company assessment environments.2. Content & Assessment Development• Develop comprehensive aptitude training content including topic-wise study materials, question banks, and practice worksheets.• Design and administer baseline (pre-program) assessments to gauge each student cohort’s starting proficiency levels.• Design and administer endline (post-program) assessments to measure learning outcomes and training effectiveness.• Continuously update content to reflect current aptitude test patterns used by IT companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, and others.3. Coordination & Collaboration• Work closely with all GROW Tech Area Heads to plan and align the aptitude training schedule with the overall program calendar.• Ensure timely communication of session schedules to students and Centre teams across all locations.• Coordinate with the L&D team to integrate aptitude training within the broader GROW Tech curriculum and ensure cohesion with technical training tracks.• Share periodic progress reports and student performance data with the Program Manager and relevant stakeholders.4. Student Support & Engagement• Identify and provide additional support to students who are struggling with specific aptitude areas.• Create a positive, encouraging, and high-performance learning environment in virtual classroom settings.• Provide feedback to students on their performance in assessments and guide them on improvement strategies.Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification• B.Tech / B.E. in any discipline, OR• Graduation (B.Sc. / B.Com / BCA) with Mathematics as a core subject.Experience• Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching aptitude to engineering / degree college students preparing for IT company placements, OR• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Placement Aptitude Trainer with B.Tech colleges / engineering institutions.• Hands-on personal experience of having appeared in IT company aptitude assessments (campus or off-campus) is mandatory.Skills & Competencies• Strong command over quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, and data interpretation topics.• Familiarity with the aptitude assessment patterns of major IT companies (e.g., TCS NQT, Infosys Instep, Wipro NLTH, Accenture, Capgemini, etc.).• Proficiency in delivering engaging virtual training sessions via Zoom or similar platforms.• Ability to develop original training content, question papers, and assessment tools from scratch.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with young graduates.• Organised and self-driven with the ability to manage schedules across multiple Centres.• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for content creation and reporting.What We Offer• An opportunity to contribute to one of India’s leading social development organisations and directly impact the careers of young graduates.• A collaborative and purpose-driven work environment within the GROW Tech L&D team.• Exposure to a pan-India program with a diverse student base across multiple Centres.• Opportunities for professional development within DRF’s skill development ecosystem.
