development, and day-to-day management of aquaculture operations.The successful candidate will manage production activities, aquatic animal health, feeding programs, water quality, biosecurity, facilities, staff, suppliers, budgets, and regulatory compliance to achieve safe, sustainable, and commercially viable production.This role is ideal for professionals with experience in aquaculture production, fisheries, marine biology, aquatic animal health, hatchery management, farm operations, seafood production, or aquatic resource management.🚀 What You'll DoManage day-to-day aquaculture farm, hatchery, nursery, or production operationsDevelop and implement annual aquaculture production plans and operational strategiesManage stocking, breeding, spawning, nursery, grow-out, harvesting, and production activitiesMonitor water quality parameters including temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH, ammonia, and other relevant indicatorsDevelop and oversee feeding programs to optimize growth, feed conversion, animal health, and production efficiencyImplement strong biosecurity and aquatic animal health management programsMonitor fish, shrimp, shellfish, or other cultured aquatic species for health, growth, behavior, and mortalityCoordinate disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and aquatic animal health interventionsManage hatchery and broodstock operations where applicableDevelop production KPIs and monitor survival rates, growth rates, biomass, feed conversion, mortality, and yieldLead farm personnel, technicians, biologists, veterinarians, contractors, and support teamsDevelop workforce plans, training programs, SOPs, and operational proceduresManage aquaculture equipment, tanks, ponds, cages, pumps, filtration, aeration, feeding systems, and other infrastructureEnsure proper maintenance and reliable operation of aquaculture facilities and equipmentManage suppliers, feed providers, equipment vendors, laboratories, consultants, and external service providersMonitor operating costs, production budgets, resource utilization, and cost-saving opportunitiesEnsure compliance with applicable UAE environmental, fisheries, aquaculture, food-safety, animal-health, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate with relevant government authorities and environmental agenciesMaintain accurate production, health, water-quality, inventory, and operational recordsPrepare management reports, production forecasts, budgets, dashboards, and performance reviewsSupport product quality, harvesting, post-harvest handling, storage, and distribution activitiesIdentify opportunities for automation, technology adoption, genetic improvement, sustainable feeds, and production optimizationLead continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, efficiency, sustainability, and profitabilitySupport environmental monitoring and minimize the ecological impact of aquaculture activities✅ What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries Science, Marine Biology, Aquatic Sciences, Animal Science, Environmental Science, or a related field5–10+ years of experience in aquaculture production, farm management, hatchery operations, fisheries, or a related disciplineProven experience managing commercial or large-scale aquaculture operationsStrong knowledge of aquatic animal production, biology, nutrition, water quality, and farm managementExperience with aquaculture biosecurity, disease prevention, and aquatic animal healthStrong understanding of production planning, stocking, feeding, harvesting, and biomass managementExperience managing technical teams and operational personnelStrong financial, budgeting, resource-management, and operational-planning skillsExperience managing aquaculture suppliers, contractors, laboratories, and technical service providersStrong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skillsAbility to work in outdoor, marine, coastal, or farm environments when requiredStrong understanding of the UAE aquaculture and environmental regulatory environment is highly desirable🌟 Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Marine Biology, Aquatic Sciences, Animal Science, or a related disciplineProfessional certifications or specialist training in aquaculture, aquatic animal health, biosecurity, or environmental managementExperience with species such as seabream, seabass, tilapia, shrimp, shellfish, or other commercially farmed aquatic speciesExperience with RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture Systems), marine cages, ponds, hatcheries, biofloc, or integrated aquaculture systemsStrong knowledge of aquatic animal nutrition, feed management, genetics, and breeding programsExperience with aquaculture automation, sensors, IoT monitoring, data analytics, and farm-management softwareKnowledge of sustainable aquaculture practices, environmental monitoring, and ESG principlesExperience working with UAE government authorities, fisheries organizations, environmental agencies, or food-safety regulatorsPrevious experience working in the UAE or GCC is an advantageExperience managing large-scale or
