About the RoleLead fish health and welfare programs across hatchery, early-stage, and offshore/farm operations, driving disease prevention, fish health, welfare, and sustainable production.Key ResponsibilitiesLead fish health programs and monitor fish health across production stages.Diagnose and manage diseases, mortality events, and health challenges.Conduct surveillance, necropsies, sampling, and microscopy.Develop health monitoring systems, treatment protocols, SOPs, and biosecurity practices.Train and mentor fish health and production teams.Ensure responsible use of veterinary medicines and compliance with welfare standards.Support strategic initiatives to improve survival, productivity, welfare, and sustainability.Liaise with veterinarians, laboratories, researchers, regulators, and industry stakeholders.Manage fish health budgets, equipment, consumables, and veterinary inventory.QualificationsBachelor’s/Master’s in Veterinary Medicine, Aquaculture, Aquatic Animal Health, Fishery Science, Marine Biology, or related field.Relevant experience in fish health management or aquaculture veterinary care.Experience in hatchery, farm, or offshore aquaculture operations.Strong knowledge of fish disease diagnosis, surveillance, necropsy, microscopy, biosecurity, and fish welfare.Experience in SOP development, team leadership, and health program implementation.Required SkillsFish Health Management | Aquatic Animal Health | Fish Disease Diagnosis | Disease Surveillance | Necropsy & Sampling | Fish Pathology | Biosecurity | Veterinary Medicine | Fish Welfare | Aquaculture ManagementCompensationBest in industry, commensurate with experience and expertise.
