AP/AR Specialist📍 St. Petersburg / Tampa, FL — Currently remote with plans to transition to a hybrid schedule💰 $75K–$90K Base + Bonus — flexibility for the right candidateWe are partnering with a rapidly growing organization seeking an experienced AP/AR Specialist to take ownership of its day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.This is an AP-heavy role, but the ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across both AP and AR. The company is looking for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a growing environment.What You’ll Do• Own day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes• Manage vendor onboarding and vendor relationships• Process invoices, approvals, and payments• Support check runs and electronic payments• Manage customer billing and invoice generation• Track receivables and support collections• Apply customer payments and reconcile AR accounts• Assist with 1099 preparation and year-end reporting• Support construction draws, pay applications, and progress billing as needed• Perform cash reconciliations and support cash forecasting• Resolve discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders• Maintain accurate financial records and support audits• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes as the company scalesWhat We’re Looking For• 4+ years of AP/AR experience• Strong Accounts Payable experience with hands-on Accounts Receivable exposure• Ability to independently own processes and solve problems• Strong vendor management, reconciliation, and payment processing experience• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment• Proficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP systems• Self-starter who enjoys learning and taking on additional responsibilityPreferred ExperienceExperience within construction, real estate development, renewable energy, infrastructure, or another project-based environment is a plus, but not required.Exposure to construction draws, pay applications, progress billing, or project accounting is also highly desirable.Why Consider This Opportunity?• Join a rapidly growing organization at an early stage of its growth• Opportunity to take true ownership of AP/AR processes• Significant opportunity to expand responsibilities over time• Bonus opportunity• Medical, dental, and vision benefits• Company covers approximately 95% of employee medical costs• 401(k) with approximately 5% company match• Unlimited PTO• Currently remote with a future hybrid office environment in the St. Petersburg/Tampa area
