Accounts Receivable SpecialistPosition OverviewMarket My Market is a fast-growing marketing agency onboarding roughly 20 new clients per month and billing over $1M in recurring revenue monthly. As we scale, we are hiring a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to own the full billing and collections lifecycle. This role is responsible for processing subscriptions, payment links, and invoices in HubSpot Commerce, reconciling HubSpot against QuickBooks, communicating with clients on billing concerns and adjustments, and supporting forecasting, reporting, and process efficiency. This is a remote position, and the Specialist must be available to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & PaymentsSet up and manage recurring subscriptions in HubSpot CommerceCreate and send payment links and generate invoices at scaleApply incoming payments and resolve failed or declined transactionsFollow up on past-due balances and manage collectionsProcess prorations, credits, refunds, upgrades, downgrades, and one-off charges accurately and on timeReconciliation & AccuracyReconcile HubSpot Commerce activity against QuickBooks to ensure transactions, payouts, and balances matchInvestigate and resolve discrepancies between platformsMaintain clean, accurate, audit-ready financial recordsKeep the receivables ledger current and reflective of real-time client activityClient CommunicationServe as the point of contact for client billing questions, concerns, and disputesCommunicate professionally and promptly to resolve billing issuesCoordinate adjustments and payment arrangements while protecting the client relationshipPartner with Client Experience Managers and leadership to resolve escalationsForecasting, Reporting & EfficiencySupport revenue forecasting and cash-flow projectionsBuild and maintain AR reporting, including aging, and collectionsDeliver clear, accurate reports to leadership on a regular cadenceIdentify and implement efficiencies and automation to keep billing and reconciliation processes scalable as volume growsQualificationsHands-on experience with the HubSpot Commerce platform, including processing subscriptions, payment links, and invoices (required)Proven experience reconciling billing platforms against QuickBooks4+ years in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar finance operations roleComfortable managing high transaction volume in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactionsMeticulous attention to detail and strong organizational habitsA process-improvement mindset with the ability to spot and fix inefficienciesAvailable to work full-time on Eastern Time Zone business hoursPreferred QualificationsExperience in an agency or subscription/SaaS billing environmentFamiliarity with reporting or automation tools (e.g., advanced Excel/Sheets, BI dashboards)Exposure to month-end close and collaboration with an accounting teamLocationThis position is fully remote and we are only hiring candidates located in the following states: AlabamaCaliforniaColoradoFloridaGeorgiaIllinoisIndianaIowaNorth CarolinaNew JerseyNevadaNew YorkMarylandSouth CarolinaTexasWashingtonVirginiaCompensation & Benefits$60,000 - $70,000 per year, salary based on experiencePTO: 2 weeks per yearHealth insurance benefits401(k) plan (after 1 year of employment)Remote work opportunity All emails will come from a @marketmymarket.com or @applytojob.com domain only.
