Valtrans continues to grow its client base by partnering with luxury hotels, major malls, private hospitals, and international airports in the United Arab Emirates.Role Description The Arabic Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The individual in this role will handle day-to-day accounting activities, including posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank and cash accounts, and preparing financial reports. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring expense records, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and ensuring accurate documentation in both Arabic and English. The Arabic Accountant will assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and internal audits, and ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and company policies. The role involves close collaboration with operations, finance, and management teams to support accurate financial tracking for transportation and hospitality services.Qualifications Strong accounting and finance skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.Proficiency in Arabic and English, with the ability to prepare and review financial documents and reports in both languages.Familiarity with ERP or accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other standard office applications.Knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and relevant local compliance requirements.Attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage.Previous experience in transportation, hospitality, or service-oriented industries is beneficial.
