Arabic NLP Specialist

Birbal AI is looking for an experienced Arabic NLP Specialist to join our AI team and contribute to the development of advanced Arabic Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions for large-scale government digital transformation programmes.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize Arabic NLP solutions for enterprise and government applications.Build and fine-tune Arabic Large Language Models (LLMs) and transformer-based models.Develop AI solutions for:Text classificationNamed Entity Recognition (NER)Sentiment AnalysisQuestion AnsweringInformation ExtractionSummarizationMachine TranslationPreprocess, clean, and annotate Arabic datasets (MSA and Gulf dialects).Evaluate model accuracy using NLP performance metrics.Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for Arabic knowledge bases.Collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Business Teams.Optimize NLP models for production deployment and scalability.Support prompt engineering and AI solution design for Arabic conversational AI systems.Required skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP).Strong expertise in Arabic NLP (Modern Standard Arabic and regional dialects).Hands-on experience with:PythonPyTorch or TensorFlowHugging Face TransformersspaCyNLTKScikit-learnExperience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Llama, Falcon, Mistral, or similar.Experience building and fine-tuning transformer models (BERT, AraBERT, MARBERT, CAMeLBERT, etc.).Knowledge of vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).Experience with REST APIs and AI model deployment.Familiarity with Azure AI, AWS, or Google Cloud AI services.
