Workshop Supervisor & Arabic Speaking Technical Trainer – AutomotiveOn behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor & Arabic Speaking Technical Trainer to join their Aftersales team.This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive professional with strong workshop leadership experience and a passion for developing technical talent. The successful candidate will oversee workshop operations while delivering technical training to ensure technicians meet OEM standards and continuously enhance their technical capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily workshop operations, ensuring productivity, efficiency, quality, and compliance with OEM standards.Provide technical guidance and support to technicians on diagnostics, repairs, and complex technical issues.Plan, develop, and deliver technical training programmes for Technicians, Team Leaders, Service Advisors, and Technical Support staff.Conduct classroom, practical, and on-the-job training sessions.Identify training needs through performance evaluations and workshop observations.Monitor trainee progress and evaluate training effectiveness.Support the introduction of new vehicle technologies, products, diagnostic equipment, and service procedures.Maintain training records, certifications, and workshop performance reports.Promote a culture of continuous learning, safety, and operational excellence.Perform additional duties as required to support the Aftersales operation.RequirementsBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.OEM Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certification is highly desirable.Minimum 5 years' experience in automotive workshop operations, including supervisory responsibilities.Previous experience delivering technical training within an automotive dealership or OEM environment.Strong knowledge of passenger vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and workshop best practices.Excellent leadership, coaching, presentation, and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.Fluent in Arabic and English.Key CompetenciesWorkshop leadership and team managementTechnical coaching and facilitationAdvanced diagnostics and problem-solvingPlanning and organisational skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsResults-oriented with a continuous improvement mindsetIf you have a strong background in automotive aftersales, workshop leadership, and technical training, we'd love to hear from you.Apply now to be considered for this exciting opportunity.
