Arabic Teacher

Role Description The Arabic Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The Arabic Teacher will design and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include planning and preparing lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The teacher will integrate aspects of Arabic culture and, where appropriate, Islamic Studies into lessons to deepen students’ understanding. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues, participating in school activities, and communicating regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching, with experience delivering Arabic lessons to diverse age groups.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and families.Candidates should possess Lesson Planning skills, including the ability to design structured, age-appropriate, and engaging learning activities.Candidates should possess knowledge of Islamic Studies where relevant to the curriculum and school context.Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field; teaching certification is preferred.Previous experience teaching Arabic in an international or bilingual school setting is an advantage.Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects cultural and linguistic diversity.Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
