The Center relies on the support and engagement of individuals and partners who wish to uplift Native American perspectives and contribute to meaningful, community-focused work.ARC Program ManagerThe ARC Program Manager provides day-to-day leadership and coordination for Trickster Cultural Center’s Advancing Recovery in Tribal Communities (ARC) initiative. This position coordinates culturally grounded substance use prevention, treatment access, recovery support, harm reduction, community engagement, partnerships, staff, data, and grant implementation across Northern Illinois.Position DetailsFull-Time, Salaried | In PersonSalary: $63,000–$68,000 annually, depending on experience

- Coordinate day-to-day implementation of the ARC initiative, including timelines, outreach, activities, documentation, and grant requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise employees assigned to ARC-funded activities.
- Lead prevention, youth and community engagement, treatment-access, recovery-support, and overdose-prevention activities.
- Strengthen referral pathways and recovery navigation for Native individuals and families.
- Support Indigenous Recovery Talking Circles, provider participation, and Medication-Assisted Recovery education.
- Build and maintain partnerships with Tribal and urban Native organizations, health and recovery providers, schools, youth organizations, veterans programs, LGBTQ2S+ partners, and community organizations.
- Track participation, referrals, outcomes, program benchmarks, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Help ensure ARC activities remain culturally grounded, community-centered, and aligned with Trickster Cultural Center’s mission.Qualifications
- Relevant experience in program management, community programming, public health, recovery services, prevention, or a related field.
- Experience working respectfully with Native American and Indigenous communities.
- Strong organizational, communication, staff-coordination, documentation, data-collection, and reporting skills.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout Northern Illinois.
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, community development, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional and community experience may substitute.
- A clinical, counseling, recovery, or substance-use credential is not required.Lived ExperienceLived experience in recovery and/or substance-use prevention is required. Applicants are not expected to disclose private personal details during the application process.How to ApplyPlease submit:
