The role involves preparing and reviewing architectural and civil drawings, coordinating design details, and ensuring alignment between project specifications and site execution. Day-to-day tasks include quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and BOQ preparation, as well as supporting tender documentation and technical submissions. The professional will collaborate with project managers, site teams, and consultants to resolve technical issues, track design changes, and maintain accurate project records. The role also includes monitoring compliance with local regulations, company standards, and client requirements, while contributing to value engineering and optimization of project costs.Qualifications Strong technical background in architecture or civil engineering, with experience in quantity surveying and technical office work.Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar) and familiarity with project management and documentation tools.Solid understanding of construction methods, building materials, and local codes and standards relevant to Jeddah and the wider region.Experience in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents, with attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations.Effective communication and coordination skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and external consultants.Ability to analyze drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies, and propose practical technical solutions.Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in QS or project management are an advantage.Previous experience in construction or real estate development projects, preferably in similar technical office or QS roles.Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and commitment to working on-site in Jeddah.
