Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Software Architect to define and guide the technical architecture of software products and platforms. You will translate business requirements into scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable technical solutions while establishing architectural standards and best practices across engineering teams.You will design system architectures, evaluate technology options, define technical standards, and provide guidance on architecture decisions throughout the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with product, engineering, security, infrastructure, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives and long-term technology strategies.The role includes designing distributed systems, APIs, data architectures, integration frameworks, and cloud-based solutions where applicable. You will identify technical risks and dependencies, drive architectural reviews, support complex technical problem-solving, and ensure that systems meet requirements for performance, scalability, availability, security, and maintainability.You will also promote engineering excellence through documentation, design reviews, technical standards, and knowledge sharing. The ideal candidate combines strong technical judgment with business awareness and can communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong knowledge of software architecture, system design, design patterns, and engineering principles.Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and the ability to understand and evaluate application code.Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, databases, messaging, and system integration.Knowledge of cloud platforms, infrastructure, containerization, and modern deployment practices.Understanding of scalability, performance optimization, high availability, reliability, and disaster recovery principles.Strong knowledge of application and data security, including secure design and access-control concepts.Ability to evaluate technologies, frameworks, platforms, and architectural approaches based on business and technical requirements.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical direction while balancing short-term delivery with long-term architectural goals.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, code quality, and engineering best practices.
