Architectural/ID Inspector

Job Title: Architectural / Interior Design (ID) Inspector

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field.Minimum 10 years of total professional experience.At least 7 years of experience in the supervision and inspection of architectural finishes for building projects.Minimum 5 years of experience in Dubai working with engineering consultancy offices.Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, local authority requirements, and industry standards.Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect and monitor architectural and interior fit-out works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, and quality standards.Supervise finishing works, including flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, painting, joinery, doors, windows, glazing, and other architectural elements.Ensure all architectural and ID works are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.Identify non-conforming works and issue inspection comments, ensuring timely corrective actions are implemented.Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve site-related issues.Review and witness material installations and mock-ups to verify compliance with project requirements.Prepare daily inspection reports, site observations, snagging lists, and progress updates.Monitor workmanship, quality, and safety practices during construction activities.Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover processes.Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, project quality requirements, and consultant procedures.Preferred Skills:Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and inspection documentation.Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and coordination skills.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary supervision team.
