We are seeking a talented, reliable, local NYC professional specializing in architectural photography, videography, and post-production video editing to capture our newly completed spaces.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an expert visual storyteller with an architectural eye to document our projects. This role requires someone who can seamlessly handle both the field production (shooting) and post-production (editing) phases, while also representing our firm professionally when coordinating directly with third parties.ResponsibilitiesVisual Documentation: Capture high-end, professional-grade photography and dynamic video content of newly completed projects - specifically focusing on exterior and interior architectural details. Location Management: Travel independently to project sites located across Brooklyn and the Bronx.Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Proactively coordinate with building owners, property managers, and superintendents to schedule access, secure entry, and manage site visits smoothly.Post-Production & Editing: Professionally edit all captured media to meet our brand’s visual standards.Deliverables Per Building:5–10 masterfully edited, high-resolution interior and exterior photographs per building.1–3 polished, edited short-form videos (20 seconds in length) tailored for marketing and archival use.QualificationsLocal Expertise: Based in the New York City area with proven familiarity and ease of travel across Brooklyn and the Bronx.Professional Specialization: Demonstrated portfolio focusing specifically on architectural photography, videography, and video editing.Equipment: Must own and utilize professional-grade camera gear, wide-angle lenses, stabilization tools, and lighting equipment capable of handling challenging lighting conditions and tight spaces.Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills, particularly when liaising with building owners and property stakeholders.Compensation & Contract DetailsPlease submit your preferred pricing structure, including hourly rates, project-based rates per building, or standard media package rates.How to ApplyPlease submit your resume, cover letter, portfolio, and detailed pricing structure in a single PDF document to office@smsstudio.us SMS Studio is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity within our firm.
