Architecture Intern (Tamheer)

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Architecture Intern to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia through the Tamheer internship program. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in architectural design and project development while working alongside experienced professionals. You will contribute to various architectural projects, develop your technical skills, and gain valuable insights into the architecture industry in a collaborative and innovative environment.Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, plans, and technical documentation using industry-standard softwareSupport senior architects in the design and development of building projects from concept through completionConduct research on building materials, construction methods, and architectural styles relevant to project requirementsParticipate in site visits and document existing conditions, measurements, and project progressCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure design feasibility and complianceAnalyze architectural designs and provide constructive feedback based on building codes and design principlesCreate 3D models and renderings to visualize design concepts and present ideas to stakeholdersMaintain organized project files and documentation in accordance with company standardsAttend design meetings and contribute ideas to enhance project outcomesSupport the preparation of project proposals and presentationsQualificationsProficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUpStrong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and design standardsExcellent technical drawing and drafting skills with attention to detailStrong spatial reasoning and visualization abilitiesSolid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environmentsAnalytical mindset with problem-solving capabilitiesFamiliarity with Saudi building regulations and local construction standards (preferred)Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software (preferred)Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering tools (preferred)Basic project management understanding (preferred)Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasksEnthusiasm for learning and professional development
