Team members contribute to impactful work that supports energy inclusion and rural development.Role Description The Area Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for overseeing operations and performance across allocated sites and service areas. This role involves managing local teams, ensuring reliable energy supply, monitoring key performance indicators, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. The Area Head coordinates with headquarters and field staff to implement operational plans, optimize resource utilization, and resolve issues affecting customers and partners. Daily activities include reviewing site reports, supervising maintenance schedules, engaging with stakeholders such as telecom clients and local businesses, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes budget oversight, risk management, and supporting strategic projects to expand and strengthen OMC Power’s presence in the region.Qualifications Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising field or operations teams.Operational management capabilities, including planning, coordination, and performance tracking in service or infrastructure sectors.Stakeholder management and communication skills to work effectively with customers, partners, and internal teams.Basic understanding of renewable energy, power systems, or utility operations; experience in energy or telecom sectors is an advantage.Analytical skills for interpreting operational data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions.Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, travel within the assigned area, and adapt to field conditions.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related discipline; relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus.Proficiency with standard office software and digital tools for reporting, documentation, and communication.Commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical business practices, with a customer-centric mindset.
