Area Manager

We’re Hiring | Area Manager – Sports RetailWe are looking for an experienced Area Manager to join our Sports Retail team and lead the operational and commercial performance of multiple GMG Stores within an assigned territory.Key Responsibilities:• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple stores and ensure operational excellence and brand compliance.• Drive store performance through key KPIs including Sales, Conversion, ATV, UPT, Shrinkage, and Customer Experience.• Lead commercial execution, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and product launches.• Work closely with Merchandising and Allocation teams to optimize stock flow and product availability.• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and store teams, supporting performance management and succession planning.• Conduct regular store visits, identify opportunities, and implement clear action plans.• Collaborate closely with Operations, VM, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Loss Prevention teams.Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.• 5–7 years of experience in retail operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a multi-store, Area Manager, or Cluster Manager role.• Experience managing international retail brands, preferably in sportswear, fashion, or lifestyle.• Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, customer experience, KPIs, and P&L drivers.• Strong leadership, people management, analytical, and decision-making skills.
