The Area Manager will oversee day-to-day operations within the assigned territory, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries and adherence to service-level standards. Responsibilities include managing and supporting delivery partners, coordinating with client stakeholders, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role involves analyzing operational data, resolving issues on the ground, optimizing route planning, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety guidelines. The Area Manager will also collaborate closely with central operations, technology, and support teams to scale services and maintain high-quality logistics performance in the region.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in operations management, territory management, and day-to-day logistics coordination.Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder management, team leadership, and effective communication with delivery partners and clients.Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, performance monitoring, and problem-solving to improve service efficiency and reliability.Candidates should possess skills in process optimization, basic understanding of technology platforms, and comfort working with dashboards and mobile apps.Relevant qualifications include prior experience in last-mile logistics, retail or e-commerce operations, or delivery-focused roles.Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field, proficiency in local languages and English, a valid driving license, and familiarity with the Coimbatore market.
