Area Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate a team of full-time cleaning operatives while maintaining service standards and minimizing disruption.Review scope of works, estimates, budgets and schedules to ensure alignment with job cost and timelines.Organize team workload and ensure effective distribution of work.Identify and understand client/customer requirements through regular meetings and site visits.Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors and clients to support operational requirements.Ensure cleaning teams consistently meet the standards required by the client.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.Liaise with the Contract Manager/Administrator and address operational issues or client complaints effectively.Prepare reports, maintain records and ensure cleaning procedures are carried out in line with ISO and BICSc standards.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Facilities Management or Hospitality Management.Minimum 5–6 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Good understanding of facilities management and/or the cleaning industry.Strong leadership, team management, planning, client relationship management and customer service skills.Good knowledge of planned periodic maintenance, staff management, asset life cycles, maintenance scheduling and Health & Safety requirements, including the safe use of hazardous chemicals.Good computer literacy, including common MS Office applications.Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages will be an advantage.Middle East experience preferred but not essential.Valid UAE Driving Licence is required.Good knowledge of various types of cleaning machines.
