Job PurposeThe Area Trainer is responsible for delivering, coordinating, and administratively managing training activities across assigned Eden Facility Management projects. The role ensures that blue-collar employees receive the required induction, HSE, technical, behavioral, and mandatory training according to Eden standards, client requirements, competency frameworks, and the approved annual training plan.The Area Trainer will act as the main L&D representative within the assigned geographical area and ensure effective coordination between L&D, Operations, HR, HSE, Project Management, and site supervisors.Assigned AreasArea 1 – New Capital / Cairo: Responsible for training activities across assigned Eden FM projects in New Capital / Cairo.Area 2 – Egyptian Museum / Giza: Responsible for training activities across assigned Eden FM projects in the Egyptian Museum / Giza.Area 3 – Sahel / Matrouh: Responsible for training activities across assigned Eden FM projects in Sahel / Matrouh, including seasonal and remote operational locations.Area Trainer – Responsibilities SummaryTraining Delivery: Deliver induction/OBT, technical, vocational, HSE, OJT, toolbox talks, and refresher training for blue-collar employees. Competency & TNA: Assess employee competency, identify skill gaps, conduct TNA, and recommend training or retraining. Training Administration: Plan monthly training schedules, coordinate trainers/venues/participants, and ensure mandatory training completion. Records & Reporting: Maintain accurate training, attendance, assessment, certification, and competency records; prepare weekly/monthly reports. Area Coordination: Coordinate with L&D, Operations, Project Management, HR, HSE, supervisors, and external trainers to ensure smooth training delivery. Quality & Compliance: Ensure training meets Eden FM, HSE, ISO, SOP, and client requirements; support audits and follow-up actions. Learning Culture: Promote practical learning, coaching, workplace application, and continuous improvement among frontline employees. Materials & Equipment: Prepare and maintain training materials, assessment tools, and practical training equipment. Requirements: Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably with blue-collar/frontline workforce, plus strong training, facilitation, competency assessment, reporting, Excel/LMS, and communication skills. Working Environment: Field-based role requiring frequent movement across operational sites and flexibility in working hours.Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor's degree, diploma, or relevant vocational qualification.Training/L&D, HR, Facility Management, Hospitality, Engineering, HSE, or technical education is preferred.ExperienceMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in training and development, vocational training, facility management, hospitality, construction, technical operations, or a similar environment.Experience working with blue-collar / frontline employees is highly preferred.Experience delivering practical and on-the-job training is preferred.Experience in facility management or multi-site operations is an advantage.Working ConditionsThe position requires frequent movement between assigned operational sites.The Area Trainer may be required to work in operational, technical, outdoor, and client-site environments.The role may require flexible working hours based on operational and training requirements.For Sahel / Matrouh, the position may involve seasonal deployment, travel between sites, and extended field assignments. and prefer people who reside in Alex and MatrouhIdeal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a hands-on trainer who understands both people and operations. He/she should be comfortable working directly with blue-collar employees, supervisors, and site management rather than working only from an office.
