The firm provides tailored, end-to-end support for clients seeking thoughtful, well-managed collections.About the RoleWe are looking for an Art Advisory Assistant to join Cultured Art Consulting for a three-month, full-time placement from the end of August to the end of November 2026.This is an entry-level position designed for a recent graduate or someone at the beginning of their career who would like to gain practical experience in the art advisory business.Working directly with the Founder, the successful candidate will gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a boutique art advisory and different aspects of the art market, from artist research and client presentations to gallery relationships, acquisitions, collection management, and art fairs.The placement coincides with an active period in the UAE art calendar and will include involvement around Frieze Abu Dhabi in November.ResponsibilitiesThe Art Advisory Assistant will support the Founder and the business with:- Business Developments activities and outreach, including maintaining the CRM database;- Assisting at events in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai;- Researching artists, artworks, galleries, exhibitions, and market information;- Preparing artwork selections, client presentations, and proposals;- Maintaining collection records, catalogues, and internal databases;- Coordinating gallery, exhibition, and studio viewings;- Liaising with galleries, artists, auction houses, and other art-world professionals;- Supporting preparations for art fairs, exhibitions, and client visits;- Creating visual materials and assisting with digital content and social media;- Providing day-to-day administrative and operational support.Who We Are Looking ForThis position would suit a recent graduate or early-career candidate with a genuine interest in contemporary art and the art market.The ideal candidate will have:- Excellent spoken and written English;- Strong research, communication, and organisational skills;- Excellent attention to detail;- Confidence working with presentations and visual materials;- An interest in the UAE and MENA art scenes;- A Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Design, Arts Management, or a related field, completed or recently completed;- A proactive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn.Knowledge of Arabic or Russian is an advantage.Previous experience in a gallery, auction house, museum, art fair, or art-related organisation is welcome but not essential.The role may occasionally involve attending exhibitions, events, and appointments in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.Candidates must already be based in the UAE and have the legal right to live and work in the UAE for the duration of the placement.There may be an opportunity to extend the collaboration following the initial three-month placement.Please send your CV and a short introduction explaining your interest in art advisory and what you hope to gain from the placement to contact@cultured.ae, with “Art Advisory Assistant” in the subject line.
