We are seeking an experienced and creative Art Department Manager to lead our in-house design team and oversee the development of impactful visual assets that strengthen our brands and drive sales.Position SummaryThe Art Department Manager will oversee all creative and production activities within the art department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality packaging, product graphics, marketing materials, digital content, and brand assets. This role combines creative leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, product development, marketing, and manufacturing teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the daily operations of the Art Department.Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of graphic designers and production artists.Direct the design and execution of product packaging, catalogs, advertisements, POS materials, and digital marketing assets.Maintain brand consistency for all product lines and marketing channels for each product division.Manage project timelines, priorities, and department workload to meet business objectives.Collaborate with product development, sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams on new product launches and packaging initiatives.Review and approve artwork for accuracy, quality, and compliance before production.Coordinate with printers, vendors, photographers, and external creative partners as needed.Stay current on design trends, consumer preferences, printing technologies, and creative best practices.Establish and maintain creative processes, asset libraries, and workflow efficiencies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or related field preferred.5+ years of graphic design experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.Experience within a consumer products, CPG, retail, or manufacturing environment strongly preferred.Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.Strong understanding of packaging design, pre-press production, and print specifications.Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and presentation skills.Experience with photography, video content, and digital marketing assets is a plus.What We OfferCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience)Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid vacation and holidays401(k) with company matchCareer growth opportunitiesCollaborative and creative work environmentApply TodayIf you are an innovative creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced consumer products environment and enjoys building strong brands through exceptional design, we'd love to hear from you.Submit your resume, portfolio, and salary requirements for consideration.
