We pair traditional art direction with a new way of making images: photography alongside ComfyUI and RETINA, our private image-generation model.We work from a brand-new studio in Chinatown — full-time, in office four days a week. The role opens with a paid three-month trial period, during which we train you on our pipeline. A full-time offer follows a successful trial. The current package is salary plus 5 days PTO; full benefits will come as the studio grows.THE ROLEThe role centers on building images for creative briefs — ideas and compositions developed through our pipeline. You'll support the Creative Director, Art Director, and video editor on everything image-based, and create client-facing decks when projects call for them.WHAT YOU'LL DOBuild image compositions for creative briefs using ComfyUI and our private RETINA model (full training provided) — the primary output of this roleContribute creative ideas for photoshoots and compositionsCreate decks and presentations when projects call for themRetouch and color-correct images; format and adapt visual assets for digital platformsAssist with video creative storyboarding and editingConduct visual research for creative briefs; support concept development through mood boards and visual referencesContribute to graphic design, digital content, and print/digital asset productionNON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTSA portfolio in fashion, beauty, or both — work outside this scope (e.g., video games, illustration) will not be considered2+ years of experience in fashion, beauty, luxury, creative agencies, or cultural institutionsHands-on experimentation with AI image generation — Midjourney, Nano Banana, Kling, or similar. You don't need to be an expert; we'll train you on ComfyUI and RETINA, but you must have already explored these toolsExpert command of Photoshop: color correction, formatting, and confident retouchingWorking knowledge of video editing (Premiere Pro or similar) or some 3D skills — you don't need to be an expert, but you need at least one of the twoNICE TO HAVETechnical knowledge of photography — lighting setups, composition, how an image is actually builtBroader Adobe Creative SuiteExcellent layout and visual composition skillsUnderstanding of print production and digital asset creationHOW TO APPLYApply via LinkedIn with your resume and a portfolio link.
