opportunities that support artists and creative practitioners around the world.The role focuses on identifying artist residencies, grants, fellowships, open calls, exhibition opportunities, professional development programs, and other relevant initiatives offered by cultural institutions, galleries, museums, foundations, and arts organizations.Working with De Art's editorial team, you will transform scattered opportunity announcements into clear, reliable, and accessible information for artists at different stages of their careers.The ideal candidate is research-oriented, highly organized, attentive to detail, and interested in helping artists discover opportunities that support their creative and professional development.RESPONSIBILITIES- Research international and regional grants, artist residencies, fellowships, open calls, competitions, and exhibition opportunities.- Identify relevant opportunities from museums, galleries, cultural organizations, foundations, universities, and independent art institutions.- Verify application deadlines, eligibility criteria, funding amounts where publicly stated, geographic restrictions, required materials, and official application links.- Prepare clear opportunity summaries for publication on De Art's digital platforms.- Organize opportunities by artistic discipline, location, career stage, funding type, eligibility, and deadline.- Maintain an accurate database of opportunities and update records when application details change.- Contact organizers when clarification is necessary and practical.- Prioritize opportunities based on relevance, accessibility, credibility, and potential value to De Art's audience.- Identify opportunities suitable for emerging artists, established practitioners, international applicants, and interdisciplinary creatives.- Monitor recurring programs and track upcoming application cycles.- Collaborate with editors and content contributors to develop themed guides, opportunity roundups, and artist resource articles.- Check the credibility of organizations and identify misleading, outdated, or insufficiently documented announcements.- Ensure that published information distinguishes between fully funded, partially funded, and self-funded opportunities.- Review published listings periodically and correct or remove expired information.- Suggest improvements to the way artists search, compare, and discover opportunities through De Art's content.QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Arts Management, Art History, Cultural Studies, Research, Communications, Publishing, or a related field.- Strong interest in visual arts and the professional development of artists.- Excellent research, information verification, and organizational skills.- Strong English writing and editing abilities.- Ability to summarize application requirements and eligibility conditions clearly and accurately.- Good attention to detail when checking dates, funding information, application links, and institutional details.- Comfortable using spreadsheets, databases, online research tools, and content management systems.- Ability to evaluate source credibility and distinguish official announcements from secondary information.- Strong written communication skills and a professional approach to contacting organizations.- Ability to manage recurring deadlines and maintain accurate records.- Previous experience in arts administration, cultural research, grant coordination, artist support, or digital publishing is an advantage.-
