The learning environment emphasizes strong foundational skills, critical thinking, and personal growth.Role Description The Art Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based at MLKIS in Jeddah. The individual in this role designs and delivers engaging art lessons, introduces students to a range of artistic techniques, and supports skill development in drawing, painting, and other visual arts. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, preparing materials and classroom resources, assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining an organized and inclusive learning environment. The Art Teacher collaborates with other faculty members, participates in school events and exhibitions, and contributes to the continuous improvement of art education at the school. The role also involves fostering creativity, encouraging self-expression, and promoting a positive and respectful classroom culture.Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Art Education and Painting, with the ability to teach a variety of visual art techniques.Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, aligned with standards-based educational practices.Proven experience in Teaching, with the ability to manage classrooms and adapt instruction for diverse learning needs.Relevant academic background in Art, Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.Effective communication and classroom management skills, with a student-centered and inclusive approach.Ability to collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events, and support co-curricular art activities.Experience working in international or standards-based schools is an advantage.Willingness to engage in professional development and stay updated on best practices in art and education.
