Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement creative and age-appropriate art lesson plans aligned with the curriculumFoster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic expression and explorationAssess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their developmentOrganize art exhibitions and displays that showcase student work and promote an appreciation of the artsCollaborate with other educators to integrate art into cross-curricular activities and projectsManage art resources, ensuring the safe and responsible use of materials and equipmentEngage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in art educationRequirementsBachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related fieldExperience teaching art to students in a school setting, ideally across multiple age groupsProficiency in various art techniques and mediaExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and support studentsAbility to create an inclusive and supportive learning environmentStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom resources effectivelyCommitment to upholding safeguarding standards and student wellbeingSafeguarding Statement: The safety and protection of our students is paramount.
