The firm is committed to adding value to the banking sector and improving financial processes in a dynamic business environment.Role Description The Chartered Accountant Intern will support audit and assurance engagements, particularly in the banking sector, under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, performing test checks, documenting working papers, and supporting the review of financial statements and compliance reports. The intern will help with data analysis, reconciliation of accounts, and preparation of schedules and reports related to banking operations and regulatory requirements. Additional tasks may include coordinating with clients for information, supporting tax and compliance-related work, and contributing to process documentation and basic research. This is an on-site internship role based in Bengaluru, offering structured professional exposure and mentorship.Qualifications Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) or a related professional qualification, with a strong academic foundation in accounting, auditing, and finance.Good understanding of basic accounting principles, financial statements, and audit concepts, with an interest in banking and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or audit software will be an advantage.Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, client-facing environment.High standards of integrity, professionalism, and willingness to learn; ability to manage time and multiple assignments in a structured manner.Prior internship or practical exposure in audit, taxation, or finance-related roles will be considered beneficial.
