Our network spans over 7,000 student creators and brand ambassadors across college campuses nationwide — producing UGC video content, managing ambassador programs, and driving real results for the brands we represent. We’re building the internal platform that powers it all: a proprietary system for managing our creator network, ambassador programs, contracts, event logistics, and AI-driven content insights. As the external development engagement wraps up, we’re bringing engineering fully in-house and looking for one to two engineers who want to own this platform and grow with us.The RoleYou’ll be one of the first in-house engineers at The ART Agency, taking full ownership of a production platform already in use across our team. This isn’t a maintenance role — you’ll be shaping the architecture, building new features, and helping us scale a platform that sits at the center of a high-velocity, creator-driven business. You’ll work closely with operations, account management, and leadership to translate real business needs into clean, reliable software. On any given week you might be building a new dashboard, optimizing a data sync pipeline, shipping an AI-powered feature, or debugging a Twilio webhook. And you move fast because you build with the most up-to-date AI coding tools — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex — as part of your everyday workflow, leveraging LLMs to ship real product features without sacrificing quality. You need to be comfortable owning it all. What You’ll Work On• Creator & Ambassador Management — Tools for onboarding, managing, and tracking 7,000+ creators and brand ambassadors across active programs• Messaging System — Internal communications infrastructure built on Twilio for creator and ambassador outreach• Contracts & Verification — Integrations with Dropbox Sign (e-signatures) and Veriff (government ID verification) for compliant onboarding workflows• Creator Metrics & Reporting — Data pipelines pulling from Grin and other sources to surface performance insights across the network• Event & Logistics Tracking — Systems for managing campus activations, form submissions, and field-level operational data• AI-Powered Features — Information extraction, content tagging, insight generation, and intelligent automation woven throughout the platform• Admin & Internal Tools — User-friendly dashboards and interfaces built for a non-technical internal teamWhat We’re Looking ForAbove all, this is an AI-native engineering role. We expect you to treat modern AI tooling as a force multiplier in everything you build — it’s how you ship faster and punch above your level.Core Technical Skills• TypeScript — Strong proficiency; this is the language of the platform• React — Building polished, functional frontend interfaces and internal dashboards• Node.js / NestJS — Backend services, APIs, and business logic• Prisma & SQL — Data modeling, migrations, and query optimization• AWS — Infrastructure experience including RDS, Lambda, S3, or equivalent managed services• AI-Native Workflow — You must be advanced at leveraging the most up-to-date AI tools. Hands-on fluency with AI coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex — plus LLM APIs like Claude and OpenAI — is a core requirement, not a nice-to-have. You use them daily to move quickly and ship more without sacrificing quality.Experience That Matters• Third-party API integrations (REST, webhooks, OAuth — we use Dropbox Sign, Grin, Veriff, and Twilio)• ETL-style data pipelines and background sync jobs• Building internal/admin tooling for non-technical users• AI-powered product features — whether LLM integrations, extraction pipelines, or intelligent automation• Full-stack ownership: you can pick up a ticket and see it from database schema to deployed UISoft Skills That Set You Apart• You can explain what you built and why to someone who doesn’t code• You ask good questions before writing a line of code• You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can prioritize ruthlessly in a fast-moving environment• You take pride in clean, maintainable work — not just shipping fastNice to Have• Experience in creator economy, influencer marketing, or media/entertainment tech• Familiarity with video content workflows or metadata systems• Prior work at a startup or agency where you wore many hatsWhy Join ART• Ownership from day one — You won’t be one engineer on a team of fifty. You’ll have real influence over architecture, tooling, and roadmap decisions.• Meaningful scale — 7,000+ creators, 4,000+ ambassadors and growing. The platform you build will be used every day by our operations team and felt by the broader network.• Creative industry — We work at the intersection of marketing, college culture, and Gen Z. It’s a genuinely interesting domain.• Room to grow — As we scale the team, early engineers will have the opportunity to grow into senior and leadership roles.Compensation & Benefits• Competitive salary commensurate with experience• Health benefits package• Remote-first with flexibility• Equipment stipend• EquityYou must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. The ART Agency is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building an incredible team with an amazing culture. To apply, send your resume, a link to your GitHub or portfolio, and a brief note on a technical project you’re proud of to hiring@theartagency.com.
