Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We’re looking for an AI Engineer to sit inside the AI team and build them.This is a deeply technical role for a developer or engineer who builds things. You’ll spend your time writing code, deploying agents, integrating APIs, and shipping automations that drive real outcomes — with some stakeholder communication and scoping support along the way, though you won't initially be leading or managing either.In the near term, you’ll focus on building and deploying AI agents — model-agnostic by design, with Anthropic’s Claude as our base platform — a hands-on opportunity to shape how LK Group works from day one. Over time you’ll build across the portfolio wherever AI adds value: finance and reporting, retail operations, customer service, supply chain, sales enablement, and internal comms.If you’re a builder who wants to ship real AI systems at scale across a multi-billion-dollar diverse group of companies — this role was built for you.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGYou’ll be heads-down building — agents, pipelines, integrations, and automations that go live and deliver measurable outcomes.Build and deploy AI agents across leading LLMs — with Anthropic’s Claude as our base platform — designing workflows, configuring skills, and scaling automations.Integrate AI services into existing systems via APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines — owning the technical implementation end to end.Set up workflow pipelines using PowerAutomate n8n, Zapier, Make, Shopify Flow, and similar.Test and refine semi-autonomous and autonomous agents.Troubleshoot and triage existing AI-enabled tools and workflows.Maintain a documentation library of reusable prompts, action logs, and artifacts.Communicate with stakeholders and support scoping of new opportunities — helping gather context and share progress, with senior team members leading the direction.Build responsibly — safe, secure, on-policy AI use with the right human review checkpoints.ABOUT YOUYou’re a coder and builder first. You’re energised by shipping working systems, not writing decks.
