Team members collaborate in a fast-paced environment that values innovation, clarity, and practical impact.Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, build, and deploy AI models and systems that support PlanChecker.AI’s core products and internal tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and implementing machine learning and deep learning algorithms, developing and maintaining production-grade software components, and collaborating with product and data teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The engineer will work with datasets to perform feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and performance optimization, as well as contribute to documentation and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Caracas.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including algorithms, data structures, and version control.Experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition for building and optimizing machine learning and deep learning models.Hands-on knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks for text analysis and language-based applications.Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI (such as Python) and familiarity with ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).Ability to work with real-world datasets, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and model evaluation using appropriate metrics.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience deploying models to production environments and working with cloud or container-based infrastructure is a plus.Please note before applying you must know how to speak English well this is a requirement.
