Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation and build the next generation of AI-powered applications.This is an engineering-led role for someone who can take AI solutions from prototype through to production, working with LLMs, Generative AI and agentic workflows to build scalable, reliable applications.What you’ll be doing:

• Design, build and deploy end-to-end AI applications
• Build on foundation models to develop intelligent agent workflows
• Work hands-on with LLM APIs, prompting, tool calling and RAG
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing products and backend services
• Use AI coding agents while maintaining ownership of architecture, security and code quality
• Develop evaluation, testing and monitoring frameworks across quality, safety, latency and cost
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and support build-vs-buy decisions
• Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhat we’re looking for:
• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML applications into production
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI
• Strong understanding of RAG, prompting and tool/function calling
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals
• Strong written and spoken EnglishWe are particularly interested in engineers who have gone beyond experimentation and can demonstrate real-world, production AI applications.
