AI Scientist - Global Fund - Abu Dhabi, UAE - USD 200k Base + BonusRole: AI Scientist (Model Fundamentals)Location: Abu Dhabi, UAESalary: Up to $200k base + significant bonusIndustry: Finance - prior finance industry experience not requiredA global fund in Abu Dhabi is expanding its AI research team and is looking for an experienced AI Scientist to help build and optimise next-generation LLM applications.You'll be working hands-on across the full LLM lifecycle, from fine-tuning foundation models and prompt optimisation through to deploying production-ready AI applications. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to model evaluation, safety, and applied research while collaborating closely with engineering and product teams.Ideal candidate background:Strong hands-on experience fine-tuning, optimising and deploying LLMs into production.Expertise with PyTorch, TensorFlow and/or Hugging Face Transformers.Experience building LLM applications such as conversational AI, text generation or summarisation.A solid understanding of prompt engineering, model evaluation and practical AI optimisation techniques.A Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning or a related field from a leading university.Contributions to impactful AI research or recognised open-source projects are highly desirable.If you're interested in learning more, or know someone who could be a great fit, feel free to get in touch.
