Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

General QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Industrial or a related field,Minimum 5 years of experience in mass production assembly lines (preferably in the automotive industry),Hands-on experience in line setup/commissioning, and process improvement projects,Advanced knowledge of time study, work measurement, and line balancing,Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis, etc.),Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint),Experience with SAP systems is preferred,Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings,Strong analytical thinking, result-oriented mindset, and leadership skills,Ability to adapt to Honda Türkiye production methodologies and fully comply with workplace rules,Good command of English (both written and spoken).Job DescriptionManage assembly lines end-to-end, including performance monitoring and continuous improvement,Develop and implement strategic projects to increase assembly line efficiency,Perform line balancing, capacity planning, and bottleneck management,Lead new line installations, line modifications, and investment projects,Coordinate new product introduction (NPI) activities,Analyze and resolve production quality issues using root cause analysis and follow up corrective actions,Prepare and update standard work instructions, process documentation, operation page standard (OPS) and safety risk pages,Implement and promote lean manufacturing practices (Kaizen, 5S, etc.) on the assembly lines,Collaborate closely with quality, maintenance, planning, logistics, and other production teams,Provide technical leadership and mentorship to assembly line team leaders, group leaders and operators.
