Asset Engineer

Responsibilities

Align asset management initiatives with departmental and organizational objectives.Monitor and evaluate the quality and timeliness of maintenance work performed by the maintenance team.Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.Continuously analyze rolling stock performance data to identify opportunities for improvement in asset efficiency, reliability, and safety.Recommend and implement enhancements, modifications, or upgrades to optimize asset performance.Ensure that all rolling stock assets comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.Oversees and provides guidance to projects pertaining to asset handover, maintenance readiness and integration requirements for handover of new or altered rolling stock assets.Supports outgoing fleet de/commissioning activities and establishes optimum set de/commissioning sequencing with consideration to asset condition, performance, and maintenance demand.Responsible for the maintenance plans, management of critical complex failures, monitoring of modifications and maintenance records management.Manages the master maintenance data related to existing, new, and disposed assets to optimize data integrity and reduce any associated business risks.

Qualifications
