We are looking for a highly proactive and communicative Assignment Coordinator to identify exciting robotics stories across Europe and the United States, secure filming opportunities, and coordinate our field teams from the initial outreach through to the completed shoot. Your Role Your main responsibility is to make sure Robot24.com has a continuous pipeline of exciting locations and robotics stories for our teams to film. Approximately 15% of the role is identifying new filming opportunities, while the majority of the position is focused on outreach, securing filming permissions, follow-ups, bookings, and coordinating assignments. The opportunities can be extremely diverse. For example, this could be an autonomous robot working inside a hospital, a firefighting quadruped, a humanoid working alongside people, a robot serving customers in a restaurant or coffee shop, an autonomous delivery robot, a robot operating inside a hotel or service facility, or a robotics competition, demonstration, launch, or major industry event. Essentially, we are looking for interesting robots being used, tested, or demonstrated anywhere our audience would want to see them in action. Once you identify an opportunity, your job is to make it happen. You will contact the company, facility, organization, or event directly, introduce Robot24.com professionally, explain who we are and what we would like to film, and secure permission for our correspondent and videographer to visit and report on the story. Our editorial coverage and filming are provided at no cost to the company or organization being featured. Key Responsibilities * Research and identify exciting robotics filming opportunities across Europe and the USA.* working with these two timezoned* Find robots being used in hospitals, restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, factories, warehouses, service facilities, public spaces, and other real-world environments.* Identify relevant robotics events, competitions, demonstrations, launches, and other opportunities for our field teams.* Identify the correct contacts and decision-makers within companies and organizations.* Proactively contact companies by phone and email.* Professionally introduce Robot24.com and explain our global robotics news coverage.* Explain what our team would like to film and why we believe their technology or application is interesting.* Secure filming permissions and approvals.* Follow up persistently until an opportunity is confirmed or a final decision is received.* Maintain a strong pipeline of potential and confirmed filming opportunities.* Coordinate directly with our correspondents and videographers once filming has been approved.* Schedule filming dates and ensure the field team has all necessary contacts, addresses, timings, access instructions, and information.* Organize required travel logistics, including flights, trains, hotels, and local transportation.* Arrange event registrations, media accreditation, and press passes when required.* Coordinate passport details and other documentation required for events or international travel.* Stay in close communication with both the location and our field team to ensure each assignment takes place successfully. What We Are Looking For This position requires someone who is extremely comfortable on the phone. You should be charming, confident, persistent, and professional. You need to enjoy speaking with people and be able to build rapport quickly — whether you are speaking with a startup founder, PR manager, hospital, restaurant, robotics company, event organizer, or major international corporation. Getting a filming approval often requires several calls, emails, and follow-ups. A simple lack of response cannot be the end of an opportunity. You should be able to represent Robot24.com professionally and make companies excited about having our team visit and film their technology. You should also be: * An excellent English communicator, both verbally and in writing* Highly persuasive and confident on the phone* Charming and professional in external communication* Persistent without being pushy* Strong at researching and identifying interesting opportunities* Highly organized and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously* Comfortable coordinating people across different countries and time zones* Detail-oriented when handling travel, schedules, access requirements, and event accreditation* Fast-moving, proactive, and solution-oriented* Comfortable with a role involving a high volume of phone calls and emails every day Previous robotics expertise is not required. What matters is curiosity, good judgment about what could make an interesting story, and the ability to turn an opportunity into a confirmed filming assignment. What Success Looks Like Success in this role is not simply finding interesting robots online. Finding the idea is approximately 15% of the job. The main responsibility is turning that idea into an actual Robot24.com shoot.
