Role Description The Director at UrbanPro.com will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the company’s activities in Patna. This full-time, on-site role involves setting regional growth objectives, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality learner and tutor experiences. The Director will analyze performance metrics, drive user acquisition and retention initiatives, and oversee partnerships with local educational institutions and training providers. This role also includes budgeting and resource planning, implementing process improvements, and representing UrbanPro in key external meetings and community events. The Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align Patna operations with UrbanPro’s overall vision and business goals.QualificationsStrong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and developing talent.Proven strategic planning and execution abilities, including setting goals, managing budgets, and delivering measurable business results.Background in education, technology, or marketplace/platform businesses, preferably in a growth or operations-focused role.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build partnerships and represent the organization externally.Analytical mindset with experience using data, metrics, and market insights to inform decisions and optimize performance.Ability to work on-site in Patna, collaborate with local and remote teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, learner-centric practices and an interest in the Indian education and training ecosystem.
