Assistant Accountant

DrP Wellness Group is a rapidly growing pharmacy retail platform, operating a network of pharmacies across Greece. As part of our continued growth strategy, we are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team and report to the Accounting Manager. You will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the Group and contribute to the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and information. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and bookkeeping.Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with Greek Accounting Standards (ELP)Reconcile supplier, customer and general ledger accounts and investigate any discrepanciesPerform daily store cash reconciliations and investigate any discrepanciesPerform bank reconciliations on a regular basis, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding itemsSupport month-end and year-end closing proceduresReview and process supplier invoices and employee expense claimsMonitor and support payment preparation and execution processesSupport VAT, withholding tax, myDATA and other statutory reporting requirementsLiaise with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors and public authorities when requiredAssist with payroll accounting and related reconciliationsSupport accounting integration and harmonization activities related to newly acquired entitiesContribute to process improvement initiatives and finance transformation projectsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field1-3 years of relevant accounting experienceGood knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards and tax regulationsExperience with ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of myDATA processes and electronic invoicing requirementsGood command of English, both written and spoken Skills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAnalytical mindset and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesTeam-oriented with a collaborative approachStrong organizational and communication skillsHigh level of integrity and accountability What We OfferOpportunity to join a fast-growing and ambitious retail healthcare platformExposure to business integration projects and finance transformation initiativesDynamic and collaborative working environmentCompetitive compensation package and professional development opportunities
