Accounting Assistant Manager | Top 10 Accountancy FirmEdinburgh, Kirkcaldy or Stirling | Hybrid workingWe’re recruiting on behalf of a Top 10 accountancy firm looking to appoint an Accounting Assistant Manager across its Edinburgh, Kirkcaldy or Stirling offices.This is a great opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified accountant looking to take the next step, combining hands-on accounts work with greater responsibility for client relationships, reviewing work and supporting junior team members.The role will include:Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clientsManaging assignments from planning through to completionActing as a key point of contact for clientsReviewing work completed by junior team membersSupporting, coaching and developing traineesManaging deadlines and helping ensure a high standard of client serviceWorking closely with Managers and Partners across the wider teamWe’re looking for:ACA / ACCA qualified or approaching qualificationExperience gained within an accountancy practiceStrong statutory accounts preparation experienceConfidence dealing directly with clientsGood organisational and communication skillsAn interest in taking on more responsibility and progressing your careerThe firm offers the quality, resources and progression of a Top 10 practice, alongside a supportive team environment and the flexibility to be based in Edinburgh, Kirkcaldy or Stirling.
