Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Sociology or Social Work

Ajman University invites applications for a full-time Associate/Full Professor of Sociology, with priority given to male candidates to support gender balance within the department, and a strong preference for applicants specializing in Computational Social Sciences or Digital Sociology.Key Responsibilities Teach Sociology courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels Faculty members will be responsible for course development and participating in curriculum and program development Supervise master’s theses and contribute to research training Maintain an active research agenda with regular publications in high-impact journals Engage in funded research projects and interdisciplinary collaborations Contribute to curriculum development, program review, and accreditation processes Provide academic advising and support departmental activitiesMinimum Requirements PhD in Sociology from an accredited institution Demonstrated research productivity in recent years Evidence of excellence in university-level teaching Excellent Arabic language proficiency (as the main language of instruction) Strong English proficiency (written and spoken)Application RequirementsInterested Candidates Should Submit The Following Documents Update Curriculum Vitae with a cover letter.
