At AM London Fashion Ltd, we believe fashion should be a force for good, and we are dedicated to shaping a future where style and sustainability go hand in hand.We're now looking for an established Assistant Buyer experience who is competent in managing suppliers, developing newness, negotiating prices. The Assistant Buyer is likely to be working on outerwear, dresses, tops or bottoms, so experience in these categories would be preferred.Key roles and responsibilities:Supporting Buying with prices and developmentManaging design overviews and weekly summaries of product for different platforms.Supporting BAA management and prioritiesManaging own category with support of BuyerAnalysing weekly trade report and identifying actionsRegular comp shops to identify new and missed opportunities in the rangeLiaising with factories to support critical path managementAttending weekly fit sessions with QC and design to establish best fits and qualitySkills required:Relevant buying experience in the fashion industry to a similar levelGreat communication skills - you will be co ordinating with teams such as Merchandising, Design, QC and the Studio teamCommercially aware - how to interpret and adapt market trends to the customer to maximise salesKeen interest in fashion and trendsAbility to work independently to tight deadlines in a fast paced environmentDriven with a strong sense of initiativeWhat we can offer you:25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, plus your birthday offGenerous 40% staff discount and sample sales25% friends and family discountCompany Pension SchemeLength of Service AwardsEnhanced Maternity and Paternity paySome flexibility of your working hours
