Assistant Category Manager

🚨 We're Hiring | Assistant Category Manager – Food Category 📍Are you passionate about category management, supplier negotiations, and driving growth within the Food/FMCG sector?We're looking for an Assistant Category Manager to join a dynamic team and support the growth of our food portfolio.Key Responsibilities:✔ Assist in developing and executing category strategies✔ Manage product assortment, pricing, and promotional plans✔ Analyze sales, market, and consumer data to identify growth opportunities✔ Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate commercial terms✔ Monitor inventory, margins, and category performance✔ Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, supply chain, and operations teamsWe're looking for candidates with:✅ 3–6 years of experience in Category Management, Buying, or Merchandising✅ Background in Food, Grocery, FMCG, Hypermarket, Supermarket, or Retail✅ Strong analytical and commercial acumen✅ Experience in supplier/vendor management and negotiations✅ Advanced Excel skills (Power BI is an advantage)✅ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field
