Assistant Clinical Director | Integrative Psych | Chelsea, Manhattan | $170–205K total compMost of outpatient mental health has reorganized around volume: brief episodes, 15-minute med checks, therapist churn. Integrative Psych is built on the opposite conviction — that serious conditions deserve complete treatment. Our patients are in care for 16 to 150 sessions, weekly stepping down to monthly, with a defined method (long-term psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, ERP, EMDR), targeted medication, and real changes in daily life. The practice was founded by Ryan Sultan, MD — Columbia professor of clinical psychiatry, NIH-funded researcher with 440+ citations, double board-certified in adult and child/adolescent psychiatry.The practice has grown to the edge of what one founder's calendar can hold. We're hiring the person who takes over that whole loop.What you'll own- Clinical quality across the team: weekly supervision focused on the things that keep patients in treatment — the alliance, treatment plans patients can repeat back, and method fidelity at session 40, not just session 4- Growth, measured: new patient volume, retention through the treatment arc, clinician utilization — reviewed with Dr. Sultan weekly on one page- The practice's public presence: talks at schools, therapist offices, and local organizations; a referral network you build and keep warm; expert content in your own name — written, video, interviews, podcasts- Your own caseload, capped at 20 clinical hours so the leadership half of the job stays realWho we're looking forLicensure matters more to us than the letters. You must hold an active New York license permitting independent practice and clinical supervision — licensed psychologist (PhD/PsyD/EdD), LCSW-R, LMHC with supervisory qualification, LMFT, Licensed Psychoanalyst, PMHNP, or MD/DO with strong psychotherapy training. What we're actually selecting for:- Depth training in at least two of our methods (psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, ERP, EMDR)- Evidence you've built something — a caseload, a program, a service line, a referral network — and can name the number it moved- The ability to teach: clinicians in supervision, and rooms full of strangers at a talkIf you've been running your own practice and find yourself more interested in building than in one-more-session, this is the seat.Structure & compFull-time W-2, Chelsea office (on-site majority of the week). Total compensation $170–205K depending on licensure ($225K+ for therapy-trained PMHNPs), structured as base + clinical production + a bonus tied to the growth numbers you own.
