The Assistant will support daily clinical and administrative operations, including preparing treatment rooms, organizing instruments and supplies, and assisting dental professionals during patient procedures as permitted by training and local regulations. Responsibilities may include welcoming and seating patients, updating basic patient information, managing appointments, and helping maintain accurate records. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe environment by following infection control and sterilization procedures, restocking materials, and coordinating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow. The Assistant will provide courteous, professional support to patients and staff, contributing to a smooth and positive experience throughout the visit.Qualifications Ability to support dental procedures and chairside activities, including preparing rooms, organizing instruments, and assisting clinicians as allowed by training and local regulations.Strong organizational and administrative skills, such as scheduling appointments, handling basic documentation, and helping maintain accurate patient records.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients, clinicians, and other team members, including clear, respectful verbal and written communication.Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene, including following infection control protocols, sterilization procedures, and safety standards.Ability to work on-site full-time, stand for extended periods, and manage multiple tasks in a clinical environment while maintaining a calm, patient-focused demeanor.Prior experience in a dental or healthcare setting, or completion of a dental assisting or medical assisting program, is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or licenses in dental or medical assisting are a plus, depending on state regulations.Basic computer skills and familiarity with healthcare or dental practice management software are beneficial.
