In this role, you will provide critical support in managing commercial and contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-contract planning through post-contract execution. You will work collaboratively with senior management, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency, contract compliance, and successful project delivery.Prepare and analyze cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for pre-contract phasesReview and evaluate contractor submissions, quotations, and proposals with a focus on commercial viabilityAssist in contract administration activities, including change order management, claims processing, and contract compliance monitoringTrack and monitor project costs against approved budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actionsPrepare detailed commercial reports, cost analyses, and financial summaries for project stakeholdersSupport procurement activities by analyzing supplier proposals and negotiating commercial termsMaintain organized documentation systems for all contracts, agreements, and commercial correspondenceConduct quantity surveys and measurements to verify work completion and support payment certificationsAssist in resolving commercial disputes and claims through thorough documentation and analysisCollaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between technical requirements and commercial objectivesSupport the preparation of project financial forecasts and cash flow projectionsQualificationsProven experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or commercial management within construction or engineering projectsStrong knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract management processesProficiency in cost control, budget tracking, and financial analysisSolid understanding of contract administration and commercial negotiationsExperience with quantity surveying software and project management toolsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAdvanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications and data analysisStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to analyze complex commercial information and present findings clearlyFamiliarity with construction industry practices and standardsKnowledge of contract documentation and procurement proceduresAttention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all deliverablesAbility to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple prioritiesPreferred: Experience working on projects in the Middle East or Saudi ArabiaPreferred: Familiarity with local Saudi Arabian regulations and commercial practices
