Assistant Cost Manager (MEP)

Currie & Brown is looking for Assistant Cost Manager - MEP to join our team in Dubai. You will work closely with our existing cost management teams across pre and post contract projects. What you will be doing: Support the Cost Manager / Senior Cost Manager in delivering pre-contract cost management services for MEP packages across major building and infrastructure projects.Prepare and review cost plans, budgets, estimates, elemental cost analyses, and bills of quantities in accordance with project requirements.Assist with tender documentation, procurement strategy, tender analysis, and commercial evaluations, ensuring value for money and alignment with client objectives.Coordinate with designers, engineers, contractors, and client teams to develop MEP costs, identify cost risks, and provide commercially focused advice throughout design development.Contribute to value engineering, benchmarking, cost reporting, and risk management, using market knowledge and industry data to support informed client decision-making.What you will need: BSc in quantity surveying or MEP related subjectPrevious experience gained within a global consultancy firmPre- and post-contract MEP experienceMiddle East experience essentialWell-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astuteA team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
