Assistant Dealer - Treasury (Assistant Manager Grade)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join our Treasury Front Office as an Assistant Dealer - Treasury (Assistant Manager Grade). The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving the Bank's Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange business, managing client portfolios, and contributing directly to treasury profitability through effective market execution and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Execute customer Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange (FX) transactions while optimizing profitability for the Bank.Manage and grow the customer Repo portfolio, ensuring direct contribution to Treasury Net Interest Income (NII).Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate and institutional clients while expanding the Bank's Fixed Income and FX customer base.Actively participate in trading activities across Interbank Fixed Income Securities, Money Market Instruments, Foreign Exchange, and other Treasury products to achieve treasury performance targets.Monitor market developments and identify opportunities to enhance treasury revenues and customer engagement.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and treasury risk management guidelines.Candidate Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or a full professional qualification in IBSL, CIMA, CA, ACCA, or CFA.Possession of the ACI Dealing Certificate or Treasury and Foreign Exchange Operations Certificate (CBSL) is mandatory.Minimum 4-5 years of banking experience, including at least 2 years in a Treasury Front Office environment.Strong understanding of financial markets, treasury instruments, foreign exchange markets, and banking products.Sound knowledge of treasury operations, dealing systems, and market practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.Strong negotiation and analytical capabilities with a proactive, results-driven mindset.Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic dealing room environment
