• USD $130,000 - $140,000 per yearABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for an Assistant Director of Engineering for a luxury residential property in Miami Beach. Reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering, this is a senior technical leadership role responsible for supporting all engineering and facilities operations across the property. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Residential Chief Engineers and collaborate extensively with the Residential Management Team to ensure the highest standards of building performance, safety, and resident satisfaction.WHAT YOU'LL DOSupport the Senior Director of Engineering in overseeing all engineering operations, maintenance, and facilities management across the residential propertyLead, supervise, and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and serviceImplement and manage preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programmes to ensure optimal performance of all building systemsOversee the work order system, ensuring all requests are prioritised, tracked, and completed to a high standardLiaise with the Residential Management Team and resident services to resolve engineering matters promptly and professionallyManage contractor and vendor relationships, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost efficiencyPrepare purchase requisitions and work orders; support budget management and capital planningEnsure full compliance with all building safety regulations, fire codes, and operational standardsMaintain technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systemsWHAT YOU BRINGStrong engineering and facilities management experience within luxury hospitality managementA solid understanding of luxury residential operations and the elevated service expectations that come with themProven leadership experience supervising a team of engineers or maintenance techniciansTechnical proficiency across building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safetyExperience implementing and managing preventive maintenance programmesStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across residential management teamsProficiency in work order and building management systemsValid US work authorization requiredWHAT'S OFFEREDUSD $130,000 - $140,000 per yearComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and visionPaid time off and holiday entitlementsComplimentary meals on duty and discounted parkingDiscounted stays at partner luxury hotel and residential properties worldwideLearning and development opportunities with genuine career growth potential
