Redefine the future of wellness.JOB PURPOSEAssist the Director of Sales & Marketing of Jayasom Amaala translate Jayasom’s strategy into actionable sales programs, and develop activities, while ensuring the right structure and operational policies and procedures are in place.Responsible to plan and implement sales programs, targeted to local and international markets.Increase brand awareness and promote the resort’s services and products in ways that strengthens the reputation of the organisation and facilitates its growth.Ambassador of Jayasom’s wellness and sustainability culture, promote its awareness amongst team members, clients, partners, vendors by leading by example and develop activities and programs that consistently embrace and reflect Jayasom’s culture and brand standards.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESKey representative of Jayasom Amaals brand in conjunction with the leadership team.Ensure all sales activities are carried out honestly, ethically and culturally appropriate.Monitor competitor set and market situation, gleaning intelligence for business development.Develop and manage a productive relationship with ownership, resort department heads, team leaders and team members and the corporate office team.Attend and participate in in meetings, trainings, committees, employee and community relations activities and programs.Promote a friendly and collaborative work environment that includes, open communication, empowerment, team work, participation, creativity, trust, respect, professionalism and fun.Live a sustainable and wellness lifestyle by example and action.Take a positive and resourceful approach to every project and activity.KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESUse resources and technology to streamline sales processes and provide the sales team with accurate data to work their market effectively.Review and enhance sales processes to optimise performance.Consistently share knowledge of historical and current business trends and impacts to the property to drive strategy decisions.Review applicable segments contribution reports as a means of evaluating profitability and driving future segmentation strategies.Analyse pace report and historical lead log to predict future lead volume driving rate and negotiation decisions and identify catering free sell opportunities.Translate industry and market trends into sales programs and strategies that the guest perceives as valuable and drive revenue.Knowledgeable and uses the relative strengths of the resort and competitor brands to competitive sell and overcome objections.Maintain accurate forecasting for all market segments and identify valley periods for sales emphasis.Monitor sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage and sales priorities as necessary to achieve plan goals.Lead the process and discussion of maximising property revenue streams maintaining the highest levels of profitability.Establish travel schedules and monitor travel expenses to optimise sale productivity.In conjunction with the Head of S&M and all department heads, maximise rooms inventory, identify opportunities for focused sales programs.Represent Jayasom Amaala at industry trade shows and events.Meet with key clients, and assist sales team with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.Review and analyse sales performance against programs to determine effectiveness.JOB REQUIREMENTSQualifications:BSc/BA in marketing, business administration (preferred) or equivalentWork Experience:Proven experience in sales, in KSA is a must and in a luxury resort or luxury top tier corporate propertyExperience handling government entities /private offices / VIP concierges / UHNWIKnowledge:Sales knowledgeMS Office Suite and Opera PMSExcellent knowledge of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methodsNative Arabic language and Fluency in EnglishCompetencies:Entrepreneurial orientationFostering creativity and innovationInfluencing othersProblem solving / decision makerBusiness acumenInterpersonal savvyStrategic thinkingCommunicationFostering teamworkTechnical Skills:Analysis and information gatheringAbility to monitor and measure effectivenessAbility to handle complexityProduct managementBrand managementAttention to detailAbility to lead and manage teams to successOrganization and time managementAttitude:Friendly and approachablePositiveFlexible and adaptableReliableEthicalEmpatheticDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
